Real stories of letting go.

Here you’ll find decluttering client stories from women who wanted more order, more space, and less stress at home.

decluttering stories – LET IT GO

These decluttering client stories aren’t just about tidier homes – they’re about lighter minds, calmer routines, and more confidence in everyday life.

Meet the women who decided to make space – in their homes, in their routines, and in themselves.

Paulina

when clutter meets ADHD and daily exhaustion

When Paulina first reached out, she told me she had a feeling that decluttering might be what she needed – even though she couldn’t yet explain why.
At that time, she felt like she was slowly losing control over her space and, in many ways, over her life. With two children (6 and 10) and a partner, her home had become a source of stress rather than calm.

She shared that she was feeling unmotivated and mentioned that she has ADHD. Together, we started in the bedroom – the most personal, emotional space – and later moved to the children’s room. Surprisingly, working with her kids turned out to be easier than she expected. Her oldest son, who has autism, quickly embraced the new systems and enjoyed seeing his space take on a calmer form.

Throughout our sessions, we also worked on small rituals. Paulina wanted to reclaim her mornings – to have a quiet coffee and a few minutes for meditation before the day began. One of her biggest struggles was impulsive shopping, which we slowly replaced with more mindful choices. After a few weeks, she no longer felt the urge to bring new things home.

Decluttering, for Paulina, became more than just a process of tidying up. It became a way to clear out mental noise and create room for herself – for self-care, for movement, for peace. She told me that for the first time in years, she feels there is finally space for her in her own life.

“Thank you so, so much for this process and everything you’ve done for me! I knew you wouldn’t judge me and would give me the right advice. I’m eternally grateful, Kasia.
Before we started our meetings, I regretted signing up again for something that felt like yet another online program. I was downright angry with myself – but today, I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all again.” – Paulina

Joanna

facing the “Pandora’s box” at home

When Joanna first reached out, she admitted there were places in her house she simply couldn’t face – spaces she jokingly called her own “Pandora’s box.” She knew exactly what was waiting inside: clutter, chaos, things long forgotten. But the thought of opening those doors felt too heavy. So she avoided them – for months, even years.

The attic was the worst offender, followed closely by the bathroom cupboards. Every time she thought about starting, she felt overwhelmed. She wanted to clear those spaces so badly, yet the guilt of not doing it sooner made it even harder to begin. “It should be so simple,” she told me – and that feeling of shame was heavier than any box on her attic floor.

As a full-time working mom of two small children, her days were already overflowing. Still, she knew that at some point she’d need to face the weight she’d been carrying – not just in her home, but in her mind. We began gently, choosing something manageable: the medicine cabinet. That first small step turned out to be powerful. The moment she started letting go, she felt relief – the kind that almost surprises you.

Encouraged by that progress, she moved on to the bathroom, sending me photos of each little victory, proud and smiling. The real breakthrough came with the attic. Together, we designed a plan that made the impossible feel doable. By the time we were done, nearly 90% of what had been stored there was gone. What remained were seasonal things, carefully organized into clear, simple categories that made sense to her.

When Joanna looked at the space again, she said she could finally breathe. The heaviness was gone. “Now,” she told me with a laugh, “I feel like I could declutter my whole house – because it’s no longer scary. It’s actually exciting.

“Kasia helped me deal with the attic. For several years, we only stored more equipment, toys and clothes there. Since we rarely go there, I didn’t see much of a problem with it, until there was a problem with the attic passage.

Kasia encouraged me to roll up my sleeves, and since she immediately presented me with a clear action plan and tips on what and where to put away, how to segregate all items, what to do with those that can be used (but not by me) and which should be thrown away, or finally (probably the most important) – not to get discouraged at the first difficulties and doubts.

Thanks to this, I was able to clean up in one afternoon. You can see that Kasia knows her stuff and organized life in many attics, because nothing surprised me during the tidying up. I was pleasantly surprised by the numerous treasures found in the attic and, above all, the amount of space that was made there!” – Joanna

Monica

buried under piles of papers (and emotions)

When Monica reached out, she was exhausted by the growing piles of papers and documents that had taken over her space. Just looking at them made her feel nauseous. As a full-time professional, mother of a 12-year-old autistic son, and a new student juggling her own coursework, she felt like she was drowning.

She longed to feel lighter – to regain a sense of control, but without the constant pressure and guilt that came with her growing piles. At first glance, her challenge seemed simple: “just papers.” But as we talked, we discovered it was about much more.
Together, we explored why this category triggered so much stress – and we eventually reached deeper layers, touching on her relationship with her late mother and the emotional weight she had been carrying ever since.

We started with awareness – simply seeing how many papers she had, without judgment. Over time, she began to understand her attachment to certain items and what they represented. Once she saw that clearly, something shifted. Step by step, 80-90% of the papers disappeared, and what remained found a calm, logical place in her system. She no longer felt that constant background noise of “I should deal with this one day.”
Instead, she created an easy rhythm – knowing exactly where things are, what she keeps, and what she lets go of.

Today, Monica feels at ease in her home. The papers no longer represent chaos or guilt – they’re simply part of a system that supports her.
What used to drain her now gives her clarity, energy, and pride.

“I have liked minimalism since I was a child, but for several years I had a big problem with papers and documents. Our online meetings were both professional and full of humor and lightness – and they helped me understand my own blocks. It felt like a combination of therapy and coaching.

Thanks to Kasia, I now make quick decisions, keep things simple, and no longer create piles.
After each session I felt energized and continued decluttering other areas – wardrobes, kitchen, bathroom – this time with more clarity. I’ve learned to accept my perfectionism tenderly and celebrate small steps.

I’m deeply grateful to Kasia. I now have clear space for rest, family, and joy — and energy for new professional challenges.” – Monica
